Meet the Doctors of Parkhaven Dental Care

Dr. Michael Pincus received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Florida & is a graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center dental school in San Antonio. He is also a proud Gator. Dr. Pincus is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Dallas County Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, & the Alpha Omega Dental fraternity. He has served our community & his patients for over 30 years & has been president of, & currently sits, on the board of the Leukemia Association of North Central Texas.

Dr. Pincus is a 32^nd-degree Master Mason & member of the Scottish Rite, as well as a writer, speaker,& entrepreneur. He has dedicated his career to efficient,patient-centered, & cost-effective dental-delivery systems. Dr. Pincus is an accredited member of the Association of Accredited Small Business Consultants, aiding him in the quest to make dental care & cosmetic dental care more affordable for all. His book, The 7 Stages of A Dental Practice Life Cycle, is a handbook for young dentists navigating their exciting careers.

Dr. Pincus has been married to his beautiful wife, Jeanette, since dental school. Their growing family includes their son, Scott I Pincus D.M.D, his wife Sabina, and their son. Their daughter Erica, her husband Ashton, and their son.

Dr. Pincus was named an “Outstanding Dentist” by Texas Monthly Magazine for 2013 & awarded for his professional excellence & commitment to his patients’ oral health.

Dr. Pincus was named Best Dentist by D Magazine in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.

Dr. Scott I. Pincus graduated with the inaugural class from Plano West Senior High School, and went on to achieve his bachelor’s degree in biology from Indiana University. Upon receiving his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from Nova Southeastern University Dental School in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, he moved home to join the family practice. He has worked in the office since the age of 14, and he developed a love for dentistry and his patients at an early age. Our patients will tell you the feeling is mutual.

Dr. Pincus is a member of the American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, The Texas Dental Association, and the Dallas County Dental Society. As a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, Dr.Pincus’s continuing education involves advanced techniques for TMJ/headache management, including the use of Botox®. Dr. Scott focuses his procedures on implants and cosmetic dentistry. 

Dr. Pincus is active in the community as well, serving on numerous charitable boards and religious organizations. He is a recipient of the Emerging Business Award from the Gunter, TX, Chamber of Commerce. He has sponsored field trips for the schools in Gunter, and he loves giving back to our community.

Dr. Selda Sayek joined Parkhaven Dental in 2008. She began her career as a visiting professor of prosthodontics at NYU College of Dentistry in 2004 & has been in private practice ever since.

She is a graduate of the College of Notre Dame in Maryland. She received her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston. Dr. Sayek is board eligible for the American College of Prosthodontics (I, III, & IV) & received a postgraduate degrees in prosthodontics from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Prosthodontics is a dental specialty relating to the replacement of missing teeth or jaw structures with bridges, dentures, implants, or other artificial devices.

Dr. Sayek has been honored with the Harvard Dental Alumni Association’s Dr. Norman B. Nesbitt Award for excellence in dentistry as well as the the Waterpik Prosthodontic Award for outstanding achievement in the study of prosthodontics.

Dr. Sayek has extensive research experience. Her papers include: University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, TX – “The physical characteristics of composite composed of GTE monomer & titanium nanoparticles”; Harvard School of Dental Medicine Department of Prosthodontics – “Water sorption & solubility in denture soft relines”; Harvard School of Dental Medicine Department of Restorative Dentistry – “Bibliometric study on retention of glass ionomer sealants”; & Harvard School of Dental Medicine – “Clinical study on facial & body asymmetry.” She has also made presentations on implantology & treatment options for the edentulous patient.

Dr. Sayek lives with her husband, Dr. Jorge Casas, & their beautiful daughters, Valentina and Lucia.

Dr. An H. Dang strives to provide exceptional dental care for all his patients. His philosophy has always been to treat each patient with kindness and respect. Born in Alabama, Dr. Dang grew up in a suburb outside Memphis, TN. He later moved to Texas to attend The University of Texas at Austin, earning his Bachelor's degree in Finance, and subsequently, his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Baylor College of Dentistry (now known as Texas A&M University School of Dentistry). He is the third doctor in his family. Throughout his childhood, Dr. Dang was frequently considered the most artistic student among his peers. He is passionate about dentistry because it allows him to use his hands and his creativity to serve others in a meaningful way. He has participated in numerous service opportunities, providing free dental care to underserved populations through a mission trip to Vietnam and various community events throughout Texas. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Dallas County Dental Society, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He continues to spend countless hours each year through continuing education, learning the latest advancements in dentistry, with an emphasis on restorative dentistry and dental implants. In his free time, he enjoys working out at the gym, playing fetch with his golden retriever, and practicing the guitar. After practicing previously for six years in Fort Worth, TX, Dr. Dang is now part of the Parkhaven family, excited to serve his new community.

Dr. G is a dedicated and compassionate dentist who graduated in the top 6% of her class from New York University College of Dentistry, earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.

Originally from a small town in Poland, she immigrated to New York City at the age of six. From an early age, she embraced a strong work ethic, discipline, and a commitment to excellence—values that continue to shape her approach to dentistry.

Dr. G’s philosophy is simple: treat every patient as she would a member of her own family. She believes in transparency, honest communication, and working closely with patients to help them achieve both oral health and confidence in their smiles.

With a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision, Dr. G is committed to delivering high-quality, personalized care. She firmly believes that changing a smile can change a life—and takes pride in making that a reality for each of her patients.

To stay at the forefront of her field, Dr. G is dedicated to lifelong learning and regularly participates in continuing education courses. This commitment allows her to stay current with the latest techniques, materials, and dental technologies—ensuring her patients receive the best care possible.

Outside the office, Dr. G enjoys reading, soaking in the sunshine, grabbing coffee with her husband and their dog Zeus, and catching a good hockey game whenever she can.
